Release Notes for V21.12

Audience Builder

Output Email Builder Keyword Fields in Audience Builder

Users will now be able to output the Email Builder keyword used when creating the deployment. This field can be found to query in the Email Builder behavioral fields click folder.

Copy Query Confirmation

When clicking the clipboard icon in the Audience Builder UI to copy a query URL, a message confirming the copy will now be added to the UI. This visual confirmation will eliminate confusion as to whether the link for the query was actually copied.

Additional Query Criteria for Email Builder Visible on the Right Hand Side

The selection criteria from the left hand side for “Users who have” clicked, opened, or received, “X emails” will now be visible on the right hand side for Email Builder behavioral data.

Data Loader

Unmapped Values Assistance

Now when working with webhook records and webhook templates, unmapped values are more clearly added as new data comes in. This should increase visibility and clarity into what needs to be mapped and why something did not automatically process.

Webhooks are Now Available for Usage!

Omeda now supports incoming data from 3rd party JSON posts. This means if you are currently using a platform that has JSON Webhook endpoints (like formstack) you can create a Data Loader Webhook URL and connect it with your 3rd Party Platform. Once data starts flowing in, it can be easily mapped with the Data Loader UI to your Omeda database.

Webhook Integration with Unbounce

In Data Loader, users can now use an unbounce specific endpoint url, which ends in “/unbounce/”, to send data directly to Omeda from an unbounce form. This url is required to send data via their webhook because of the unique structure of the unbounce form data.

Email Builder

Autoresponse Capability for Sending Domains

By request, an autoresponse rule can be created for a sending domain. If a sending domain receives a direct email, a message will be returned stating that the domain is not monitored.

Testers and Seeds Records Can be Set to Receive Default Merge Variable Values

In a tester and/or seed’s contact record, a merge variable can be set to use the default value for any individual deployment. This setting will apply for any deployment where this merge variable is used and a default value is set. This will allow users to more easily control the merge variables that testers and seeds will see.

Form Builder

New 3rd Party Post Option on Form Submit

There is now a new option available in the post format dropdown for “Backend Post”. This new option will post the data to the endpoint URL via a backend post instead of a redirect. This will allow the post to complete even after the user has navigated away from the page and allow more time for the post.

New Form Template for “Modal-Post-Submission Close”

A new template is now available for form type “Subscription New” named “Modal-Post-Submission Close”. This new template will simplify setting up forms to be used with Personalizations and Metering modals. This new template will include the following fields by default:

  • Page 1: Static Placeholder, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Promo (set to hidden)
  • Page 2: Static Thank you, Olytics Close Confirm (3 seconds)

Updates to Form Builder’s Progressive Profiling Options.

Users will now be able to designate content groups as “Progressive Profiling”. When it is selected, users will only see the fields available for usage in a progressive profile content group including the following newly added contact fields:

  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • English Title
  • First Name & Last Name

Odyssey

The Element Name Field Expanded to 100 Characters

The element name field in Odyssey has been expanded to allow up to 100 characters.

Connection From a Split Element to a Wait

A split element can now be connected to a wait element. This will allow voyages to split the audience between emails with different send times.
