Release Notes for V19.13

Data Loader

Jump to Step Mapping

When using the Data Loader UI, a user now has the ability to navigate between the different mapping tasks in any order they wish.  You can access this from the Jump To drop down at the top right corner of the Mapping Overview page.

Renaming Headers in General Mapping Step

The headers in the Data Loader General Mapping step are now editable fields.  Clicking the edit icon next to the field you wish to change allows you to modify the header.  These header may not be blank and will not allow a user to save unless populated.

Renaming Headers while files process

Users have the ability to load multiple files using the same template/mapping.  If one file is processing, editing of that template/mapping is suspended until the file using the template/mappings has finished processing.

Manage Users UI

Introducing the new Manage Users UI. The purpose of this UI is for our Client Admin users to be able to maintain their own users. The Client Admin will need to have the appropriate permissions to be able to access the UI. The Client admin will be able to activate, edit, clone and delete their own users. Please speak with your Account Services Manager for a more detailed training for this new UI.

Metering

Targeting by Meta Tags

We added the ability to target a Meter by Meta Tags.  When setting up the Meter, by checking off the Target  Meta Tag, a Meta Tag will be generated for the user to insert into the desired page.  Then, when the page loads, the global Olytics script checks for the Meta Tag, and if it is found, the pop up will be triggered.

Odyssey

Remove Internal Duplicates check box pre-pop

When setting up an Odyssey voyage, the Internal De-dupe option within the Audience element will now defaults to on.  More often than not, a user will want to remove internal duplicates.  Please note that if the deployment type selected is an Audited Digital Deployment type, the Remove Internal duplicates will no longer appear because you cannot de-dupe that type of deployment.

Personalization

Exclusion for URL parameters

Building upon the functionality of the URL parameters, a user can now choose to exclude a URL parameter for your personalizations.  Previously the only option was to target a URL parameter.

Delete button

The delete button has been brought back into production and can be accessed through the actions menu and within the Personalization Edit screen as well. This will allow you to delete unwanted personalization messages to keep the tool from getting cluttered.

Persistent Side Box Presentation Type

We are offering two new display options for Personalizations: Left Persistent Box and Right Persistent Box.  These options allow the user to setup small, unobtrusive Personalizations on the left or right edges of their site, allowing the user to not block content or ads with the Personalization pop up. You can choose which percentage down the page you’d like the message to appear.

Global Settings

A “Global Settings” Modal has been created.  This new modal will allow a user to modify  the time between when a visitor can see any Personalization of the same type aka the “global cool down”.  Previously this was defaulted to 20 minutes.   There is also now a check box that lets the user decide whether a visitor should see a standard type Personalization and an exit Intent Personalization on a single visit.

Set Limit of Impressions by Interactions

The limit of times a specified Personalization can be seen within a given time period can now be customized, allowing the user to control the number of times a visitor can see the Personalization before the next one on the priority list is displayed.

Exit Intent Timing

Users can now set the “minimum page visit duration” in the UI.  Prior to this enhancement, a visitor would have to remain on a page at least 10 seconds before they would qualify to see an exit intent modal.  This minimum wait time is now a configurable setting starting at 1 second.

Set Start and End Time

We have added the ability to set a start or end time for a Personalization.  This functionality can be helpful when promoting time sensitive events such as Webinars or Trade shows.

Targeting by Meta Tags

Similar to the Meta Tags enhancement for metering, users can now target a Personalization by Meta Tags.  The Meta tag is created when you create your Personalization. By inserting it on the desired pages, when the page loads, the global Olytics script would check for the designated Meta Tag. If the Meta Tag is present, the pop up will be triggered.

Reporting

Summary by Link Category – Data Report Updates

With this release you may notice some slight changes to this report.  Now the Track ID will be included and we have renamed two of the headers.  The header for Type will now be labeled Deployment Type.  The header for Deployment Name/Type will now be labeled Deployment Name

Engaged Companies Report

We have developed a new report that mimics the Engaged Companies from the Dashboard Insights tab, but with the added functionality to export ALL of the customers associated with the Top Companies.  Users can click on the numbers in the report and download the customer info into Excel.  Please note that users will need to have the appropriate permissions associated with their log in to have access to this new report.
